Need help with Task Board, found a bug, or have a feature idea? Here's how to reach out, plus answers to the questions that come up most.
Only to show accurate local weather in the header. It's not used for anything else, and it's never sent anywhere except a weather lookup. See the Privacy Policy for the exact services involved.
To power the Screen Time feature, which tracks how long you spend on each website. It only reads the domain (e.g. github.com), never the full URL, page title, or page content.
No. Tasks and screen-time history stay entirely in your browser's local storage. The only network requests are weather lookups, which send your coordinates and nothing else.
Check that Chrome is allowed to show notifications at the OS level (Windows: Settings → System → Notifications; macOS: System Settings → Notifications → Google Chrome), and that notifications aren't muted for Chrome specifically.
Task Board uses your device's precise location when available. If location access is off at the OS level, it falls back to a less precise IP-based estimate, which can occasionally resolve to the wrong city. Enabling Location Services for Chrome will fix this.
Open the Screen Time tab, select the period you want to clear (Today, This Month, or This Year), and use the Reset link next to the total. This can't be undone, so export a backup first from the export menu if you want to keep a copy.
Tap the gear icon in the header to open Appearance, where you can pick a preset theme, accent color, border radius, and font family.
