Task Board is a Chrome extension for task scheduling and website time tracking. This policy explains exactly what data the extension accesses and how it's used.
Tasks and notes. Titles, notes, and due dates you enter are stored only in your browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local). They are never transmitted anywhere.
Website time tracking. To power the Screen Time feature, the extension reads the hostname (e.g. github.com) of your currently active tab — not the full URL, page title, or page content — and records how much time is spent on each domain per day. This data is stored only in chrome.storage.local and is never transmitted off your device.
Location. To show locally accurate weather, the extension requests your approximate location via the browser's Geolocation API (or, if that's unavailable, an IP-based lookup). Your coordinates are sent to:
These services receive only the coordinates or IP address needed to return a weather result. No account or identifier is attached to these requests. A result is cached locally for up to 30 minutes to reduce the number of requests made.
All extension data lives in your browser's local storage and is removed automatically if you uninstall the extension. You can clear screen-time data at any time using the Reset button in the Screen Time tab, or export a copy first via the Export menu.
